Fasts / Vrat hold a very important place in Indian culture.

During fasts a specific kind of food known as Falahari Food is taken

Today I’m going to make Falahari Chaat

Its is very tasty as well as healthy

Lets see the ingredients required for making this chaat

For this we’ll need

1. Medium sized boiled potatoes – 3, peeled and chopped

2. Pineapple – 5 slices

3. Cottage Cheese – 100 gm, chopped

4. Apple – 1

5. Cashew Nuts – 20, roasted

6. Pomengrate seeds – 1/2 cup

7. Green Chutney – 2 tbsp

8. Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp

9. Chaat Masala – 1 tsp

This is made with 1 tbsp black pepper powder, 1 tbsp cumin seeds powder and 1/2 tbsp black salt

10. Roased cumin seeds powder – 1/2 tsp

11. Rock Salt (Sendha Namak) – 1/2 tsp, adjust to taste

12. Oil or ghee – 2 tbsp
